You do not need a referral to see a psychologist. However if you visit your GP you may be eligible for referral under a Mental Health Care Plan via the Medicare Better Access Scheme. This will make you eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (and in special circumstances, up to 16). It is also best to see your GP for this plan first, before making your initial appointment. Please refer to fees and services (link) to see how much of your fee would be covered by Medicare. Please click here (link) for a copy of our referral form.

Once you have received your GP referral (if applicable), please call us and we will schedule your first appointment. You may need to leave a message on our answering machine, with your name and phone number, and we will return your call to schedule the appointment. Alternatively, please contact us through the online form (link to “register your interest”) and we will contact you as soon as possible. However, as technical challenges are occasionally a possibility, please attempt to contact us again if you do not hear from us within 3 working days.
